Mamata Banerjee takes out candle march demanding justice for Baruipur victim
Three minor girls have gone missing simultaneously from the Khamarpara area of Belur, triggering an intensive investigation by local authorities. The families of the girls reported that they could not be traced since yesterday around 1:00 PM. Following the incident, three separate missing person complaints were filed sequentially at the Belur Police Station, prompting immediate action from law enforcement.
Recognizing the gravity of the matter, the Detective Department of the Howrah City Police has joined the Belur Police Station to conduct a joint probe into the case. Preliminary investigation reveals that construction work for a multi-story building was underway in the Belur Khamarpara locality. Investigators discovered that some of the contract workers employed at this construction site have also been untraceable since the minors disappeared.
The police have started collecting and scanning Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage from the area to track the movement of the missing girls. Based on the initial findings, law enforcement authorities strongly suspect that the missing contract workers are directly involved in the disappearance of the three minors. The investigation is actively progressing to locate both the girls and the suspected workers.
